DMR Canada 3021 @ 158-69-203-89 - high latency

Canada 3021 @ 158-69-203-89 :

Reflector (dmr+) 4580 is still being remapped by (IPSC2-CAN-TRBO) which is connected to a "Master" in the USA, Obviously this causes high latency for the return trip, we have been attempting to communicate with CAN-TRBO in order to rectify the situation, but to no avail, we have no response from said group in the past 6 months.

We thank the infrastructure groups

January 07 2018
DMR-MARC Net Canada --->>>  BrandMeister Net Canada ||
DMR Net Canada (all TG302 linked, now only one DMR Net)
Success : boom goes the dynamite !! .... take cover

On January 07 2018 we had an explosion in the DMR community. In an effort to build on our success and reliability of the Net and an ongoing project to spread Canada's Ham Radio communication voice. We now have a huge communication resource with the linking of Talkgroup 302 DMR-Marc and Brandmeister.

We now finally have the BrandMeister Net Canada || DMR-MARC Net Canada -  (302 Net linked) with the infrastructure from CANADA-DMRQ

CANADA-DMRQ infrastructure was used to bridge the 2 cores.

BrandMeister Canada's 3026 Net

Mark it in your calendar, folks! The BrandMeister Canada's 3026 Net is held every Tuesday at UTC (1:00) and is available to HAM via DMR BrandMeister repeaters and Hotspots in Canada and globally. With over 680 DMR Industrial Repeaters worldwide, this net is going to be one of the busiest nets available for Canada HAMs on BrandMeister, with typical weekly check-ins of many stations (first net).

Anyone interested in accessing the net can do so by tuning into to BrandMeister digital DMR repeater or hotspot via Talkgroup 3026

How Can The DMR CANADA NET Grow

How Can The DMR CANADA NET Grow

We understand DMR-MARC has a Canada Net on Talkgroup 3026 weekly Sunday Nights.

NEW We are about to introduce a BrandMeister Canada Net on Talkgroup 3026 in 2017

The important fact here is we understand the two networks and TalkGroup 302 are not connected.

BrandMeister vs DMR-MARC vs DMRplus

BrandMeister vs DMR-MARC vs DMRplus
Tell me about the following DMR networks

Digital Mobile Radio, DMR, is a new standard that has been developed by ETSI defining digital standard for PMR. PMR, an acronym for Professional, Personal, or Private mobile radio is recognised as the term covering radio communications other than mobile telephones.

(DMR aka Digital Mobile Radio)

BrandMeister -
On the BrandMeister network static talkgroups are configured by repeater operators. These talkgroups are similar to always-on talkgroups. They will always transmit when there is traffic.
These are the only talkgroups that must be configured by repeater operators.

Dynamic talkgroups are just that. When a user keys up on a dynamic talkgroup the
BrandMeister system creates a subscription for that talkgroup on that repeater. Then, for 15
minutes, the system will send audio for that talkgroup to the repeater. 15 minutes after the last
transmission on a given repeater, that talkgroup will be dropped from the repeater.
Users have the ability to key up on any talkgroup and use it.  15 minutes later the
connection would drop. Interestingly, the timeslot is not important. The network will route the
audio to the repeater and transmit on the same timeslot. It is recommended that timeslot 1 be used for wide area conversations leaving timeslot 2 available to local communications

DMR-MARC -
On the CBridge network each repeater is configured with a set of talkgroups. There are
“always-on” and “user activated” (or push-to-talk) groups. These are configured at the CBridge
and cannot be modified by users from their radios.  c-Bridge is an IP-based platform by Rayfield Communications for enhancing the functionality of Motorola MOTOTRBO digital communications systems.
